Locinox chooses 20m² Leyard MGP Series LED wall to welcome guests and employees in its new facility

Locinox, an international, family-owned company, is a leader in the gate and fence industry, producing a wide range of gate hardware, gate closers, and access control solutions. Their innovative mindset and ambitious management approach have resulted in multiple awards, including the Gold label in the 2024 Best Managed Company Awards. When planning its brand-new facility, LOCINOX 4.0 in Belgium, a key consideration was for the entrance hall to have a wow factor. Alongside integrators Play AV, the Locinox team chose Leyard Europe’s high impact MGP Series to create a huge 20 square metre LED video wall, visible from the moment anyone enters the building.

The MGP Series solution offers a full, seamless, high resolution visual experience that can provide 4K content within a slim and lightweight cabinet. The series benefits from front installation and servicing. In combination with Leyard’s inhouse designed and produced custom mechanics, the screen has been installed floating between two floors of the building whilst seamlessly being integrated within its construction and finishing.

The 10x10 panel MGP 1.8mm pixel pitch LED video wall provides stunning visual impact, welcoming guests and serving multiple uses for staff. Whilst the visual impact is high, low power consumption and European manufacturing means the ecological impact is low, aligning with Locinox’s environmental ethos.

Play AV supplied equipment for the entire office build, enabling Locinox to not only improve its day-to-day operations, but also make changes that would positively impact staff. The installation included video conferencing in the offices and audio solutions that continue throughout the whole building, including restrooms and the bistro. But it was the wow factor of the entrance hall that really made an impression, as Joseph Jr Talpe, Sourcing Manager at Locinox, explains.

“We chose LED technology because of its impressive size, combined with excellent image quality. “It’s also very easy to manage content on the screen, or switch to presentation mode.”

Time was a key factor in completion of the project. The company had hard deadlines for moving staff into their new home, and the MGP Series being manufactured in Europe again came to the fore with reduced transportation times and costs, enabling Play AV to remain competitive.

Leyard’s LED screen is not only impactful in its size and prominence, it is also a great addition to benefitting team dynamics. The inclusion of invisible audio support means the screen can work hard all day, but with a few clicks, can also provide entertainment after hours. The company has already hosted sports screenings and used the video wall during parties.
